Azure Peacock- Card Holder
If you don’t know by now, feathers are one of my favorite things to carve into leather! So in the designing process, I knew I wanted feathers, but settled on two, one on each side. This card holder was meant to have a peacock feather on it- they fit perfectly! Since the leather was dyed solid black I sprung for a very dark blue feather with the vane painted lime green.
Dimensions: 3 ⅝” tallest point, to 1 ¾” shortest point, 2 ¾” wide
Designed for a concert goer’s best friend, I created the card holder to hold only the essentials. It can hold up to 5 cards and a small wad of cash! Each card holder has at least one fully-tooled side, with no specific side being the front or back. Although it starts off very stiff, overtime leather will relax and stretch out with wear.
