Fireworks- Card Holder
Using a dark turquoise, scarlet red, yellow ochre and cream I painted each petal on the sunflower a little different. The closer the petals are to the center the lighter they get. I loved the idea of creating distance with the paints rather than just relying on their natural position. By adding a little metallic and turquoise beadwork to the top, gives this piece a well balance feel.
Designed for a concert goer’s best friend, I created the card holder to hold only the essentials. It can hold up to 5 cards and a small wad of cash!
Dimensions: 3 ⅝” tallest point, to 1 ¾” shortest point, 2 ¾” wide
Each card holder has at least one fully-tooled side, with no specific side being the front or back. Although it starts off very stiff, overtime leather will relax and stretch out with wear.
